Guess the real counter and win a prize!

Hi, I'm Kyle Prince, and this is my drum page. Keep in mind, this thing is in the formative stages, and there should be a lot more stuff here in the future. Come back frequently, and bookmark my site! Thanks!

My Gear

My drum set looks something like the one shown below, except the color is black and and I have more cymbals.

It is a 1984 Pearl all-maple import kit. I bought it used for $450 in March, 1998. It came with a Yamaha snare drum, 4 Pearl cymbal stands (with parts for a 5th), 4 Zildjian cymbals (3 crashes, 1 ride), a hi-hat, and a set of roto-toms. And a drummer's throne to boot!

Brands I Use

I support and use the following brands of drum equipment:

Zildjian cymbals

Vic Firth sticks (5A)

Pearl Drums

Remo Drum Heads

An LP cowbell

My Influences

The drummers from the follwing groups inspire my playing a good deal.

Phil Rudd of AC/DC.

Lars Ulrich of Metallica.

Matt Sorum of Guns n' Roses

Animal of Electric Mayhem

Songs I Can Play

I can play the follwing songs pretty well, with a few mistakes here and there for variety ;)

Enter Sandman---Metallica

Back In Black---AC/DC

Pretty Fly for a White Guy---The Offspring

There are a few songs by Guns n' Roses, Beck, and lots of others that I sort of dabble in, but I can't really play them.

Cool Stuff

Check out this awesome set of Trixon drums from the '60s. I really like the "flat tire" bass drum, and from what I hear, they sound really cool too!

Here is another set of Trixon drums, except this is the "conical" shell version.
